Gma12 is involved in the O- and N-linked oligosaccharide modification of proteins transported through the Golgi stack, while Gmh3 is involved in the galactosylation of the N-linked core oligosaccharide Man9GlcNAc2 [].XXT1 and XXT2 are xylosyltransferases specific to UDP-D-xylose that accepts both cellopentaose and cellohexaose as substrates, with a better use of cellohexaose, to produce xyloglucan [].
